Frequently asked questions

Everything your care home needs to know

How much does a performance cost?

A performance on one of our published regional tour dates costs £225, fully inclusive. There is no separate mileage charge or hotel bill.

How long is the pantomime?

Each performance lasts approximately one hour, giving residents a complete live-theatre experience without making the event too tiring.

What space do you need?

We need a suitable clear area in a lounge or communal room, with residents seated where they can see and hear comfortably. No stage is required.

Do the actors use microphones?

Our actors are trained to project, and the scripts are written to engage the audience. Our battery-operated speaker and microphone are used only for the opening announcement and some ambient music, so we do not usually require a mains connection.

Are the shows suitable for residents living with dementia?

Yes. The pantomimes are created specifically for older care-home audiences, with familiar songs, visual comedy, clear characters and gentle opportunities to join in. Staff and family members are welcome to take part too.

Can we book a morning or an afternoon performance?

Yes. We normally perform one morning and one afternoon show while on tour. The current remaining choices are shown in green above.

Where do you travel?

We tour throughout the UK by grouping nearby care homes into short regional visits. If your area is not listed, please enquire: one booking can become the starting point for a new tour.

How does a new regional tour begin?

We build a tour around an initial booking. The first care home can help choose the date and production, and we then arrange additional performances with other homes nearby.

What if the slot we want is already booked?

Please contact us anyway. We can note your interest in case of a cancellation or look at creating another regional date in your area.

How do we book?

Ring Robin on 07748 320 277 or use the enquiry form. Tell us your care home, postcode and preferred date or time, and we will confirm what is available.
